About

Why I built C.L.I.F.F.

I got tired of being the smartest person in the room who still felt one step behind the conversation.

You know the moment. The meeting hasn't started yet, and the small talk kicks in — last night's game, the market, the headline everyone saw but you. You're more than capable of holding your own on the actual work. But the pre-meeting banter, the hallway chatter, the group-chat references? That's a different fluency, and somehow no one ever handed you the notes.

So I started making my own. Every morning I'd pull the handful of things people were actually talking about, boil each one down to the version that mattered, and figure out the one line I could say to sound like I'd been following it all along. It turned "I have no idea what they're talking about" into "oh, did you see —" almost overnight.

Every woman deserves to walk into the room already fluent — not catching up, not nodding along.

That's the whole idea behind C.L.I.F.F.: Curated Leadership Intelligence for Female Fluency. Five topics a day, sorted into five rooms, each one decoded and handed to you with exactly what to say. It's not about pretending to be someone you're not. It's about never being locked out of a conversation you could easily own.

What you can expect

A two-minute read in your inbox every morning. Real, current, and checked — never rage-bait, never partisan, never drowning in jargon. Just the five things worth knowing and the confidence to use them. That's it. That's the brief.

This is the spot for your personal story, Katie — who you are, what you do, and the moment that made you start C.L.I.F.F. A photo and a sentence or two in your own voice will make this page land even harder. (Delete this box once you've added yours.)

xoxo, Cliff
